While the mapping approaches proposed in the past mainly rely on the semantic similarity between lexical units in a frame and lemmas in a synset, we exploit the definition of the lexical entries in FrameNet and the WordNet glosses to find the best candidate synset(s) for the mapping. Evaluation results are also reported and discussed.</style>
</record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>32</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Sara Tonelli</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Semi-automatic techniques for extending the FrameNet lexical database to new languages</style></title></titles><dates><year><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">2010</style></year></dates><urls><web-urls><url><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">http://dspace.unive.it/bitstream/10579/1025/1/TESI_TONELLI.pdf</style></url></web-urls></urls><publisher><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Universit`a Ca’ Foscari, Venezia</style></publisher><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">phd</style></work-type></record></records></xml>
